Almost ready to do the cat! :]

Finished before bed. Started back in 2009 and set it aside after only finishing one and a half birds. Pulled it out again a month ago and just finished all the back stitching. Proud of how it looks. :) Rainbow Lorikeets - Australian Collection by Lesley Suzanne Davies (DMC)

The internet is boring me today.
I’m going to spend it cross stitching instead.

Well, while 18 count is really delicate and pretty, I have very much missed my 12 count aida.

*Hugs cloth* I don’t want any other size.

Cross stitching while hubby makes the cats go nuts with a lazer pointer. :]

I need a cheaper hobby, that doesn’t include an impossible love of cotton..

I feel off this evening, maybe its because it is my first Christmas away from the terrible woman I used to call my mother.
So to try make things better, my mister made up some strawberries and cream flavoured jelly and while we wait for it to set, I’ll be doing some furious cross stitching.

Finally finished! Framed and all! Took me a year to do, kept getting distracted with other projects and work, but after two months of real hard work, its done!
